This smoothie is a great blend of bright and fresh flavors but is made more fulfilling with the addition of chia seeds and almond butter.
It is vegan and has some healthy proteins that will keep you full till lunch.
You will need 1 cup of mixed berries. I am using raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. You can use fresh berries and add ice or use frozen berries and skip the ice. Either way will work.
I like the frozen berries for weekday mornings.
Berry Almond Butter Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon Coconut Almond Butter
Directions
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend 30 seconds to a minute until fully combined.
- Pour and serve!
