St. Patrick’s Day Tortilla Chips

St. Patrick’s Day is coming and that means everything green and shamrock shaped is popular!

This is a healthy St Patrick’s Day recipe that is naturally green so there is no green dye. The green color comes from spinach so it’s even sort of healthy, so win win win. And it’s a snack not a dessert! There are mostly meals and dessert recipes when it comes to this holiday.

I am all about all things green because I have Irish ancestors on both sides of my family.

I used Flatout wraps for this and they can usually be found at Publix, Kroger, and others stores. They are my favorite spinach wraps. To find them use their website:

Here is what you need:

I purchased both cookie cutters at Michael’s. The shamrock was $2 Originally but was 40% off and the rainbow was $1.29 so both were a total steal!!

I used the cookie cutters to cut out festive shapes and laid them on a baking sheet lined with a piece of parchment paper.

Repeat until you have desired number of chips. Brush each one with some olive oil. Then sprinkle on some salt.

Bake until crisp with browned edges!

These are great for a festive snack board like my St Patrick’s Day Irish Flag Board pictured below:

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly spray the parchment paper with nonstick spray if you wish.

2. Use the cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the tortillas and place each one on the baking sheet.

3. Brush the chips with olive oil and sprinkle salt

4. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until at desired level of crispness. They will crisp up more after they come out of the oven.

Love,

Kyle
