These brownies are a fun twist of a classic recipe. They have Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter in for both texture and flavor and it makes them so soft and yummy!
What you need to do is this:
Put butter in a mixing bowl
Add sugar
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs one at a time and stir to combine
Your batter will start to look like this
Add vanilla and stir
Add cocoa and mix in. Add Cookie Butter. For a fun twist, try Cookie and Cocoa Swirl. It has the same smooth texture with extra chocolate!
Put in a greased 9X13 dish and bake. Bake for 25-30 mins until a toothpick comes out clean.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup cookie butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×13 baking dish
- Add butter to a mixing bowl and cream with sugar
- Add eggs, one at a time, and stir to combine
- Add vanilla and stir
- Add flour, salt and cocoa powder to a second bowl and whisk
- Add dry ingredients to butter sugar eggs and vanilla
- Add cookie butter and stir to just combine. Do NOT overbeat or overmix
- Transfer to baking dish
- Bake 25-30 mins or until toothpick comes out clean
Note: my favorite is to cook until just baked with crunchy edges but gooey, fudgey centers. This takes about 22-23 mins in my oven
